Take Flight LBD Planner!
In the second year since the planners were released, the LBD team held the first ‘Reader’s Choice’ competition to ask our reader’s to submit an image or design they would like to see as a planner cover for the following year.
Jess Rankin was the lucky winner, and was excited to work with Leanne Baker and the Padtastic design team to create a gorgeous design featuring feathers in watercolour purples and blues on a white background. Jess was able to visit Padtastic during the design process and chose the silver binding for her cover design, which complements the final look beautifully. This cover was so popular in 2018 that it has been carried over into our designs for 2019.
The name of Jess’ design is Take Flight and was named by Rachel Beecham. The name not only fits the image on her cover of feathers flying/calmly falling on the page, but refers to how we can expect to ‘take flight’ in our lives using a tool such as the LBD planners to achieve our goals – the sky is the limit!
The Take Flight matching products are just as gorgeous as the planner cover – the A4 and A5 notepads and notebooks and front cover stickers can all be personalised with whatever text you’d like. There are also LBD budget booklets, and planner stickers from Posh Designs by Emily + Jade, which will help you accessorise and further plan your life in 2019!
The planner was designed at an A5 size with the covers slightly larger at 170mm x 220mm to cover the monthly tabs. The covers are printed in colour and case bound with a matt cello glaze finish. The text pages are printed black on 90gsm stock with mylar tabs for each month. Each planner is wire bound for the perfect finish.
In 2019, you can choose Take Flight in either a daily or weekly layout.
The daily has the following features:
• Day to a page with shared weekend page
• Hourly schedule from 5am – 9pm
• Daily list of three, notes and self-care sections
The weekly has:
• Yearly finance priorities, savings tracker and budget pages
• Yearly priorities pages
• Zone cleaning page
• Weekly budget pages
• Weekly list of three and self-care page
Both options feature:
• Morning, afternoon and evening sections
• Weekly meal planning pages
• Monthly overviews and habit tracker
• Monthly goal pages
• Notes pages
• A handy plastic pocket
