Sometimes the simplest design can be the most striking – and Foundation with its full black cover, thin white border, the LBD logo and the year, will no doubt appeal to a wide variety of people.
Padtastic designed this cover exclusively for Tim, Leanne’s husband to use in 2018. When Leanne shared an image of the cover on social media, it was highly requested by readers to be added to the designs for 2019. We love hearing your requests and how much readers love what we do, and we are very happy to introduce this cover which we know will be popular!
The name Foundation was chosen by Shannan Abbey Arnold and means ‘the underlying basis or principle’ or ‘the base of a building.’ A good foundation is needed for a solid house and for anything that is successful in life, and this can be applied to the LBD planners, and how planning can be the foundation of a successful day, week and year. Also, black is a very strong and stable colour, and this is echoed in the name Foundation. To keep with the simple theme, we’ve opted for silver binding for this cover.
If you are choosing a Foundation cover for 2019, make sure you complete your collection with our matching Foundation products. Again, we’ve gone for a simple but strong design with a thick black border for our A4 and A5 notepads and notebooks (coming soon!), LBD Budget booklets, shopping lists, meal planners, matching stickers by Posh Designs by Emily + Jade, and front cover stickers.
There are so many features in both the weekly and daily layout options for your Foundation cover. The hard cover is 170 x 220mm in size, with the pages inside being 210 x 148mm – a handy A5 size for home, work and just carrying everywhere with you. Both options have weekly meal planning pages, monthly tabs to find each month quickly, monthly overviews with a habit tracker, monthly goal pages, notes pages and a handy plastic pocket at the back.
The daily option has a day to a page with a shared weekend page, while the weekly has a week to a double page spread. The weekly also provides yearly finance priorities, budget pages and saving tracker, a zone cleaning page, and weekly self-care and list of three pages. The budget pages are also available separately in the LBD budget booklets; the perfect companion to the daily option, or just for a separate budget booklet for home or work.
Let the 2019 Foundation LBD Planner become the tool that will help you achieve your goals and make 2019 the best year to date!

Forget New Year’s Resolutions like “losing weight” and “eating less junk food”
In this blog post we discuss how to create and stick to meaningful goals for 2021, that will in turn help create positive change in your life.
By choosing a Word of the Year, it sets an intention, or a theme if you like, for how you want your year to flow.
Picking a Word of the Year is an excellent way to do this. You may just have one word that really sticks out to you for your 2021 theme, or you might have a group of words that you want to set as your intention—it’s totally up to you.
