Themes: Sporting Notepads - Team Spirit

December 19, 2014

SportingTHemeRegardless of what sport you enjoy, you will find some fun sport themed notepads at Padtastic. Do you enjoy baseball, soccer, golf, fishing or tennis or know somebody that does? Personalised sport notepads make great gifts for teams or coaches alike. Let’s get in the spirit and talk about how to build team spirit……

Team spirit is an important part of being in a team. It really bonds a team towards a mutual goal and gets everyone working together
Teams that are able to pull together as one, find that extra burst of team spirit can overcome trials better than teams who don’t get along and are motivated only by winning.
Teaching collective responsibility is core to team spirit. Good or bad, there is no ‘I’ in team. Let your team players know that they are not alone and that they will always have someone to pick them up if they get knocked down.
Plan some team building activities apart from drills, practice and games. Players who are friends off the field, play better together.
Set reachable team goals. It’s all about working together to reach goals. Set reachable goals for your team, and it doesn’t always have to be about winning.
Have fun with your team. If sports become a chore, then it’s hard to keep up morale.
Here are some great quotes about team spirit: “Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.” ― Michael Jordan
“The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.” ― Phil Jackson
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much” ― Helen Keller
